![]() | The Gold Rush and Cobb & Co P.5![]() The mail routes Cobb & Co travelled in the Mudgee region include:Mudgee, Cullenbone, Guntawang, Cobbora, Mendooran, Gilgandra and Coonamble 2 times per week in 1876, 1877, 1878, 1879 Mudgee, Eurunderee, Home Rule, Gulgong: 6 times per week in 1879. In 1880 this line was extended from the Gulgong/Coonamble line when Cobb & Co were allowed 120 pounds per annum extra to convey mails on from Gulgong to Mudgee immediately after they arrived at Gulgong, by a buggy or other light vehicle. Note that John Randell transferred this route to Cobb & Co from 1st April 1883, Mudgee, Apple Tree Flat, Cudgegong, Ilford (then Keans Swamp), Capertee, Cullen Bullen, Lidsdale, Wallerawang: 6 times per week.
